Why Coach for PHSC?

Coaches are essential to the game. They teach not just soccer skills but also help develop a healthy, positive attitude, teamwork and good sportsmanship. Coaching is a rewarding experience because you have the opportunity to build self-esteem, teach new skills and just have a lot of fun.

As a PHSC coach, you are making a wonderfully rewarding impact by setting the stage for lessons in discipline, responsibility and good sportsmanship which are skills that last a lifetime.  If you decide to coach a team that your child is a part of, you will also strengthen the bond with your child and spend more quality time with them.

  • By coaching, you will expand your social network, meet other like-minded families and forge life long bonds.

  • You will develop new skills while learning (and re-learning) life long lessons along with strengthening communication skills.

  • As an active role model, not only is it good for your overall health to get out and participate in the sport but you are also showing others a healthy lifestyle choice,

  • You will have a great time getting to know the players and helping them learn and gain confidence. You will come away from each coaching experience with a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Coaching for PHSC is just plain fun!
